Signed an Alliance Agreement with Hamamatsu City, Nara City, Yokkaichi City, Tama City and Yokose Town First of a kind to agree on alliance regarding new public transportation and tourism in Japan

Luup, Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Daiki Okai), an operator of e-scooter sharing service, signed a memorandum of understanding of alliance with Hamamatsu City in Shizuoka Prefecture, Nara City in Nara Prefecture, Yokkaichi City in Mie Prefecture, Tama City in Tokyo, and Yokoze Town in Saitama Prefecture.

Outlook for the Future

Through this alliance, Luup, Inc. will proceed with a demonstration experiment toward launching the e-scooter sharing service “LUUP.” In the effort of  implementing e-scooter sharing and assurance of safety, as well as port installation, we aim to provide a service over the medium to long term that will improve the efficiency of each city residents’ daily transportation and help revitalize the local economy.
